We had a lovely experience here. The people working here (maybe the owner is who we met) was kind and attentive! The food was enjoyable to eat. I love and appreciate a good spot with a good vibe and food made with love! Thank y'all and for the delicious banana pudding for us I mean just for our daughters! Much love! XOXO
We were looking for a place to eat since we only had a few hours to spend in Albany, found this place online. Will be honest at first I wasn't so enthusiastic about the place we walked by without noticing the entrance. The place was empty, so we got a table right away. We order the food and drinks. Our waitress came several times to the table to check on us. The fried chicken with the mac and cheese was amazing but the rice was not much. As appetizer, we got chicken egg rolls and they were delicious. Definitely try their banana pudding it was the best way to end our trip to Albany.
I came to Out of Town Bistro with two people. I didn't know what to expect. It has two levels: downstairs seems to be for a quick bite and upstairs seems to be for a dine in experience. The person who did the interior decor gave the place a bohemian dive kind of feel. The place is dark and moody with painted wooden booths, lowkey lighting, and colorful wall art that evokes a graffiti street art vibe. Two young women were smoking hookah which was unexpected, but I liked it. It fit the interior. Now the food. I did not know it was a soul food place! They had fried chicken, fried fish, macaroni and cheese, collard greens, potato salad...all the staples. In addition, they had scrumptious appetizers. We tried the Philly cheese egg rolls. Delicious! And did i mention that they have a bar? I had a Jamaican me Crazy which i really liked. You'll enjoy the cocktail menu. I will definitely return here.
First time there. The food was delicious I got off the brunch menu the lamb chops. They were perfect. The drinks were really good. The service was great. Overall the vibe was very chill and they offered hookah if you like that. Highly recommend and definitely make a reservation.
We enjoyed our meal here! We got cheesesteak egg rolls to share. They were really good, but a bit salty. For my entree I got the turkey wings. It was good! Our server was attentive.
Top notch. Had a delicious Chop Cheese. Onion rings were very tasty with Parmesan garlic sauce too. Turkey burger, salmon dinner, and fried chicken were hits too. Service is good, and the food came out quick. Wall murals and decoration make Out of Town a nice place to be. I'll be back.
